Andy Craig, Manager will also be accepting payments.

TEAM SELECTION

Team selection will be the sole responsibility of Manager Andy Craig. The team will be decided at training on a Sunday prior to the next fixture. The team will be selected from those who attend the training. The manager will select eleven plus 5 subs for each fixture. If you are unavailable for training you will automatically rule yourself out for selection. Only registered members of the club can be selected.

This rule will apply for injuries and holidays, as soon as you return to training, you are then eligible for selection. Exceptions: less than 16 at training - selection will be made on availability. Whilst the club will do what it can this season to try and give everyone football – the capacity in numbers speak for themselves, and while the small picture might not appear to be promising in 2010, the big picture 2011, 2012, etc, certainly is. Hopefully numbers can be sustained - regular full training sessions will guarantee general improvement in individual performances, as well as being beneficial to whole club and contributing to the overall success this season.

TRAINING

Training is scheduled every Sunday afternoon, from 1.45 p.m. until 3.45 p.m. All members are required if possible to attend training. If you are not available, you should contact the club manager at 0773 2277854, to explain your absence. While it is understandable work, family commitments take preference to training etc., a member of the club who is regularly unavailable to train, might be considered as unavailable for selection. All instances will be considered as due to the circumstances. Training will generally proceed regardless of weather conditions. Should for any reason the training be called off, every member of the club will be informed by text no later than 1 p.m. on that Sunday. Players on payment of their 2010 subscriptions, will be issued with a club training jacket, but are advised to wear suitable clothing, and to wear shinguards at all times, for their own safety and the interests of the club.

New members: With Membership currently open (Feb. 21st) New players will be encouraged to join the club, by filling out a registration form and by attending training. These members will become valid members until such times as the membership closes.
The membership will be constantly reviewed by the committee, with the intention if requirement demands, the expansion of the club, to be inclusive of a second eleven.

CLUB COLOURS

Bangor Ladies have successfully secured a suitable sponsor for the club, in order to furnish all players with a new kit. 2010 Sponsors are once again Sammy Mellon & Sons, Hyundai Dealers, Bingham Street, Bangor – and in 2010 our home kit (above) will again be Yellow and Blue, our away kit is all Black.
The kit will be numbered.
Once your Subscription is paid you will be allocated a number.
Players keep this number. The kit will be kept together at all times, all season. A rota will be introduced whereby the kit will be taken by a separate individual after each game, washed and prepared for the next fixture.

RESERVE TEAM

The club recently considered starting a second eleven to facilitate growing number of players this season.
The Reserve team would play on a Thursday evening in the NIWFA Reserve League.
The Committee will consider contacting the NIWFA (March) and reserving a place in the 2010 league.
However, in reality, while the numbers are good, it is not enough to sustain a second eleven.
Bangor Ladies had 21 members last season, yet failed to field a full team on three occasions, once starting a game, v. Wellington with 8 players!!.
Also from a financial point of view, a second team would strangle the development of the club this season. However, if we can keep building the present club – the committee will definitely commit to a second eleven in 2011.

GENERAL RULES OF THE CLUB

1. The Management and Staff of the Club will adhere strictly to the Rules and Regulations of the NIWFA.

2. All Registered Club members (under 15) will have Parental Permission to play and be involved in Ladies Football.
